San Diego County Fair have planned several meetings with community groups to discuss ways to improve roads in the unincorporated areas are the routes can handle the traffic expected to be generated by new growth in the hinterland during the next two decades

The county has worked for years on the general plan for 2020, an update and rewrite of its long-term plan for growth in areas outside the region 18 cities. As part of that effort, said Bob Citrano planner, the county is being improved options to expand existing roads and build new ones.

Thanks to the series of discussions, one of which took place Monday evening in Fallbrook, the county is describing how improvements would be made in the various districts, Citrano said.

“These meetings are opportunities for groups planning to hear staff’s recommendation on a proposed road network and provide feedback,” he said.

The planning groups in the county to advise on policy matters. After the series of meetings, Citrano said planners hope to finalize a proposal and take the Supervisory Board for their consideration in July.
